Scottie Scheffler getting Set for 2025 PGA Tour Return at Pebble Beach After Injury Layoff’
After months on the sidelines due to an injury, Scottie Scheffler is ready to make his highly anticipated return to competitive golf. The 2025 PGA Tour season will see the former world number one tee off at the iconic Pebble Beach Golf Links, signaling his comeback after a challenging recovery period.
Scheffler, known for his consistency and composed demeanor on the course, was forced to take an extended break late in 2024 to address a lingering injury that affected his performance. The decision to step away from the game was not taken lightly, as the Texan missed several key tournaments, including the FedEx Cup playoffs and Ryder Cup. However, the time off has allowed him to focus on rehabilitation and reconditioning, ensuring he returns stronger than ever.
“I’ve missed competing out there, but this time away has been crucial for me to heal and reset,” Scheffler said in a recent interview. “Pebble Beach is a special place, and I can’t think of a better venue to begin my 2025 season.”
The storied Pebble Beach course, known for its stunning coastal views and challenging layout, has been the site of numerous unforgettable moments in golf history. Scheffler’s return adds another layer of excitement to the event, as fans eagerly await to see how he performs after his hiatus.
Golf analysts have expressed confidence in Scheffler’s ability to regain his form. His meticulous approach to the game and proven track record suggest he’s capable of hitting the ground running. As one of the Tour’s most talented players, his return is expected to shake up the competition and reestablish him as a top contender.
The 2025 PGA Tour season holds plenty of promise for Scheffler, who is determined to put his injury struggles behind him and make a statement with his performance. All eyes will be on Pebble Beach as the golfing world welcomes back one of its brightest stars.

Djokovic learns fate in new home as Sabalenka addresses behaviour
Express Sport brings you the latest tennis news from the Paris Masters.
We’re reaching the business end of the Paris Masters, as eight players become four in the French capital. Jannik Sinner is the overwhelming favourite to lift the trophy after Carlos Alcaraz was dumped out by Cameron Norrie in the Spaniard’s opening match. Norrie was then beaten by Valentin Vacherot, whose amazing 10-match winning streak at Masters 1000 level came to an end when he lost to Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Canadian star Auger-Aliassime will face Alexander Bublik in the semis. Bublik defeated Alex de Minaur, who is among those to have already qualified for the year-end ATP Finals. Sinner is through to his first Paris Masters semi-final after beating Ben Shelton. He’ll face defending champion Alexander Zverev, who survived a tough match against Daniil Medvedev.
Novak Djokovic is not involved in the Paris Masters, having decided to skip the event for the second year in a row, but he has learned his fate in the draw of next week’s ATP 250 in Athens. And over in Riyadh, the WTA Finals are about to get underway.
