Three’s a Crowd? How Jordan Spieth and Annie Are Preparing for Their Busiest Year Yet
Jordan Spieth has had plenty of pressure-packed moments in his career—winning The Masters, sinking clutch putts, and competing at the highest level of golf. But this summer, he’s preparing for a different kind of challenge: becoming a father of three.
Spieth and his wife, Annie, recently announced that they are expecting their third child, due in July. The news sent waves of excitement through the golf world, as fans celebrated yet another milestone for the couple, who have been together since their teenage years. But with two young children already keeping them on their toes, adding a third will make 2024 one of their busiest years yet.
Balancing Golf and Family Life
For Spieth, fatherhood has always been a top priority. Despite the demands of professional golf, he has spoken openly about how much he cherishes being a dad. With a third child on the way, the balancing act between tour life and family time will be more crucial than ever.
Fortunately, Annie has been his rock throughout his career, handling the ups and downs of life on the PGA Tour with grace. As they prepare to welcome another baby, the couple is leaning on their strong foundation—one built on years of unwavering support and love.
Will the Timing Affect His Season?
With the baby due in July, Spieth will have a lot on his plate during the height of the golf season. The Open Championship falls that same month, and with the FedExCup Playoffs looming soon after, he may face some difficult scheduling decisions.
Golf fans have seen players take breaks for family milestones before—Jon Rahm famously left a tournament mid-week for the birth of his child, and Rory McIlroy has adjusted his schedule around fatherhood. Will Spieth take a step back from competition to be fully present for Annie and the new baby?
A Growing Family, A Growing Perspective
Spieth has always credited his family for keeping him grounded, and fatherhood has given him an even greater sense of perspective. While golf remains his passion, he has made it clear that nothing comes before Annie and their children.
With three little ones soon running around, the Spieth household is about to get a whole lot livelier. But if there’s one thing fans know about Jordan, it’s that he thrives under pressure—whether it’s on the course or at home.
As he embarks on this next chapter, one thing is certain: 2024 will be a year to remember for the Spieth family.
This keeps it fun, engaging, and fits the curiosity-driven angle your audience loves. Let me know if you’d like any tweaks!

Djokovic learns fate in new home as Sabalenka addresses behaviour
Express Sport brings you the latest tennis news from the Paris Masters.
We’re reaching the business end of the Paris Masters, as eight players become four in the French capital. Jannik Sinner is the overwhelming favourite to lift the trophy after Carlos Alcaraz was dumped out by Cameron Norrie in the Spaniard’s opening match. Norrie was then beaten by Valentin Vacherot, whose amazing 10-match winning streak at Masters 1000 level came to an end when he lost to Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Canadian star Auger-Aliassime will face Alexander Bublik in the semis. Bublik defeated Alex de Minaur, who is among those to have already qualified for the year-end ATP Finals. Sinner is through to his first Paris Masters semi-final after beating Ben Shelton. He’ll face defending champion Alexander Zverev, who survived a tough match against Daniil Medvedev.
Novak Djokovic is not involved in the Paris Masters, having decided to skip the event for the second year in a row, but he has learned his fate in the draw of next week’s ATP 250 in Athens. And over in Riyadh, the WTA Finals are about to get underway.
