I’m Done. Can’t Do It.” – Jordan Spieth Says It’s Time for a New Caddie
In a surprising and emotional moment, Jordan Spieth has reportedly expressed a breaking point in his long-standing partnership with caddie Michael Greller.
“I’m done. Can’t do it,” Spieth was overheard saying, his tone a mix of frustration and finality. The three-time major champion reportedly stated that he “needs a new caddie” and can no longer continue the professional relationship with Greller — the man who has stood by his side through some of golf’s greatest highs and most painful lows.
The Spieth-Greller duo has been one of the most iconic player-caddie pairings in modern golf, with chemistry and trust that once looked unbreakable. But recent struggles on the course — marked by inconsistent play, visible tension, and misreads at key moments — may have finally tipped the scale.
While Spieth has not yet made an official statement, sources close to the camp say a decision is imminent. Golf fans around the world are divided: some say it’s long overdue, others argue it’s a mistake to split from someone who knows his game inside out.
One thing is clear: change is in the air, and for Jordan Spieth, that change may start with the man on the bag.

Djokovic learns fate in new home as Sabalenka addresses behaviour
Express Sport brings you the latest tennis news from the Paris Masters.
We’re reaching the business end of the Paris Masters, as eight players become four in the French capital. Jannik Sinner is the overwhelming favourite to lift the trophy after Carlos Alcaraz was dumped out by Cameron Norrie in the Spaniard’s opening match. Norrie was then beaten by Valentin Vacherot, whose amazing 10-match winning streak at Masters 1000 level came to an end when he lost to Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Canadian star Auger-Aliassime will face Alexander Bublik in the semis. Bublik defeated Alex de Minaur, who is among those to have already qualified for the year-end ATP Finals. Sinner is through to his first Paris Masters semi-final after beating Ben Shelton. He’ll face defending champion Alexander Zverev, who survived a tough match against Daniil Medvedev.
Novak Djokovic is not involved in the Paris Masters, having decided to skip the event for the second year in a row, but he has learned his fate in the draw of next week’s ATP 250 in Athens. And over in Riyadh, the WTA Finals are about to get underway.
