Sisterly Spotlight: Nelly Korda Interviewed by Jessica After 4-Under Round at Amundi Evian Championship
After carding an impressive 4-under-par round at the Amundi Evian Championship, Nelly Korda wasn’t just fielding questions from reporters—she got a surprise media moment courtesy of her own sister, Jessica Korda.
In a lighthearted and personal post-round interview, Jessica—herself a professional golfer—stepped in with the mic, blending family humor with genuine curiosity about Nelly’s game that day.
“So… how does it feel playing that smooth today?” Jessica asked, drawing a smile from Nelly.
“It felt really solid,” Nelly replied. “I kept things steady, hit my spots, and didn’t force anything. You know how it goes.”
The exchange wasn’t just fun for the sisters but also for fans who love seeing the close bond between the Korda siblings—both respected names in women’s golf. The interview moment added a refreshing, human touch to the otherwise high-pressure atmosphere of a major championship.
Nelly’s 4-under round puts her firmly in contention heading into the weekend, with her poise and precision on full display. But it’s clear that beyond the scorecards and leaderboards, the Korda sisters share something just as valuable: mutual support and a genuine love for the game.
As Nelly keeps her eyes on the title, fans will surely be watching—not just for her shots, but for more sisterly moments like this one.

Djokovic learns fate in new home as Sabalenka addresses behaviour
Express Sport brings you the latest tennis news from the Paris Masters.
We’re reaching the business end of the Paris Masters, as eight players become four in the French capital. Jannik Sinner is the overwhelming favourite to lift the trophy after Carlos Alcaraz was dumped out by Cameron Norrie in the Spaniard’s opening match. Norrie was then beaten by Valentin Vacherot, whose amazing 10-match winning streak at Masters 1000 level came to an end when he lost to Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Canadian star Auger-Aliassime will face Alexander Bublik in the semis. Bublik defeated Alex de Minaur, who is among those to have already qualified for the year-end ATP Finals. Sinner is through to his first Paris Masters semi-final after beating Ben Shelton. He’ll face defending champion Alexander Zverev, who survived a tough match against Daniil Medvedev.
Novak Djokovic is not involved in the Paris Masters, having decided to skip the event for the second year in a row, but he has learned his fate in the draw of next week’s ATP 250 in Athens. And over in Riyadh, the WTA Finals are about to get underway.
