Pro Golfer Jordan Spieth Welcomes Baby No. 3 with Wife Annie Verret
The couple is also parents to daughter Sophie, 22 months, and son Sammy, 3
Jordan Spieth is a father of three!
The professional golfer, 31, welcomed his third baby, a son named Sully Spieth, with wife Annie Verret, announcing the exciting news with an adorable shot of his newborn son on Instagram on Sunday, July 13. In the photo, Spieth and his children’s hands can be seen touching the little one, who is resting while wearing a blue onesie with trucks printed on it.
“We added a new member to the foursome – Sully Spieth! Everyone is doing great 💙,” he wrote in the caption of the post.
Spieth first shared the exciting news while appearing on a Wednesday, Feb. 19 episode of The Smylie Show. When asked how he spent his off-season, he responded, “We have a third coming in July, so it’s busy.”
Spieth and Verret’s new addition joins the couple’s daughter Sophie, 22 months, and son Sammy, 3.
“My son turned 3 in November, so we had his birthday and stuff. He loves monster trucks, so we were at the monster truck rally,” she said of his son Sammy. “My daughter turned 1 in September, so we had her birthday right after we got home from Colorado after I had my surgery.”
The athlete and his wife were high school sweethearts and got engaged in 2017. They quietly wed less than a year later.
In 2023, Spieth and Verret shared the happy news on Instagram that they’d welcomed a baby girl named Sophie on Sept. 12.
“Welcome, Sophie 9/12/23 💕,” Spieth wrote alongside a black-and-white photo capturing him cuddling the newborn.
Despite the demands of professional golf, Spieth prioritizes family time and shares how much fatherhood has shifted his perspective.
“I think having kids and recognizing that, where golf was [my] life, I don’t think it’s necessarily a very healthy thing,” the Dallas native shared in a press conference in July 2024.

Djokovic learns fate in new home as Sabalenka addresses behaviour
Express Sport brings you the latest tennis news from the Paris Masters.
We’re reaching the business end of the Paris Masters, as eight players become four in the French capital. Jannik Sinner is the overwhelming favourite to lift the trophy after Carlos Alcaraz was dumped out by Cameron Norrie in the Spaniard’s opening match. Norrie was then beaten by Valentin Vacherot, whose amazing 10-match winning streak at Masters 1000 level came to an end when he lost to Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Canadian star Auger-Aliassime will face Alexander Bublik in the semis. Bublik defeated Alex de Minaur, who is among those to have already qualified for the year-end ATP Finals. Sinner is through to his first Paris Masters semi-final after beating Ben Shelton. He’ll face defending champion Alexander Zverev, who survived a tough match against Daniil Medvedev.
Novak Djokovic is not involved in the Paris Masters, having decided to skip the event for the second year in a row, but he has learned his fate in the draw of next week’s ATP 250 in Athens. And over in Riyadh, the WTA Finals are about to get underway.
