BREAKING: Andy Murray Secures Groundbreaking Emirates Airlines Sponsorship
In a stunning announcement that has sent shockwaves across the tennis and aviation worlds, Emirates Airlines has unveiled an unprecedented personal sponsorship deal with British tennis icon Andy Murray.
The landmark contract provides Murray with unlimited first-class travel on Emirates flights for all his tournaments worldwide, ensuring the former world No. 1 enjoys unmatched comfort and convenience as he continues to compete at the highest level. Beyond the luxury travel perk, the agreement includes a $2 million annual sponsorship package, set to fuel his training, recovery, and long-term career ambitions.
Emirates described the move as a cornerstone of its ambitious new initiative, the “Accelerating Dreams” campaign, designed to highlight and empower the brightest talents in global sports.
Murray, known for his grit, resilience, and comeback story following hip surgery, delivered a deeply emotional response to the partnership. In his statement, he expressed immense gratitude for the support, reflecting on the challenges of his career and the inspiration he hopes to provide for future generations of athletes.
“To have Emirates by my side as I continue this journey means the world. Their belief in me is humbling, and I’m determined to keep pushing boundaries both on and off the court,” Murray said.
The Chairman of Emirates Airlines praised Murray’s humility, determination, and vision for the future, calling him “a true embodiment of perseverance and inspiration.”
This partnership not only reaffirms Andy Murray’s enduring impact on tennis but also signals a bold new era in sports sponsorships, blending luxury, innovation, and the human spirit.

Djokovic learns fate in new home as Sabalenka addresses behaviour
Express Sport brings you the latest tennis news from the Paris Masters.
We’re reaching the business end of the Paris Masters, as eight players become four in the French capital. Jannik Sinner is the overwhelming favourite to lift the trophy after Carlos Alcaraz was dumped out by Cameron Norrie in the Spaniard’s opening match. Norrie was then beaten by Valentin Vacherot, whose amazing 10-match winning streak at Masters 1000 level came to an end when he lost to Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Canadian star Auger-Aliassime will face Alexander Bublik in the semis. Bublik defeated Alex de Minaur, who is among those to have already qualified for the year-end ATP Finals. Sinner is through to his first Paris Masters semi-final after beating Ben Shelton. He’ll face defending champion Alexander Zverev, who survived a tough match against Daniil Medvedev.
Novak Djokovic is not involved in the Paris Masters, having decided to skip the event for the second year in a row, but he has learned his fate in the draw of next week’s ATP 250 in Athens. And over in Riyadh, the WTA Finals are about to get underway.
