Jordan Spieth Reacts to MLB Veteran Clayton Kershaw’s Historic Milestone
Golf sensation Jordan Spieth may be taking a break from the greens due to an injury, but he is still making headlines with his recent social media post. The PGA Tour star, currently absent from the John Deere Classic, took to his X account to acknowledge the remarkable achievement of MLB veteran Clayton Kershaw.
Clayton Kershaw, the ace pitcher for the Los Angeles Dodgers, recently reached a significant milestone by recording 3000 career strikeouts while playing against the White Sox. This feat solidified his position as the fifth pitcher in MLB history to achieve this milestone while playing for the same franchise.
In a show of sportsmanship and respect, Jordan Spieth reposted ESPN’s post congratulating the $110 million worth baseball legend, Clayton Kershaw. Spieth expressed his admiration with a simple yet powerful one-word reaction, “Incredible @ClaytonKersh22 👊 👊”.
Kershaw’s impressive career includes not only the milestone of 3000 strikeouts but also a World Series Championship, three Cy Young Awards, a 2011 Pitching Triple Crown, and the title of 2014 National League MVP. The 10-time All-Star has undoubtedly left a lasting mark on the world of baseball.

While Jordan Spieth is a dominant force on the PGA Tour with 13 wins and three Major championship victories, his early interest in baseball is a lesser-known fact. Raised in a sports-loving family with a father who played baseball in college, Spieth once considered a career in baseball before ultimately choosing golf.
In an interview on The Dan Patrick Show, Spieth revealed that he veered towards golf as a teenager, recognizing his passion for the individual aspect of the sport. Despite his father’s background in baseball, Spieth found his calling in golf and has since become one of the most successful golfers of his generation.
As Spieth continues his journey towards golfing greatness, his nod to Clayton Kershaw’s historic milestone serves as a reminder of the camaraderie and mutual respect shared among athletes across different sports. The sports world eagerly anticipates Spieth’s return to the fairways as he aims to further solidify his legacy in the realm of golf.

Djokovic learns fate in new home as Sabalenka addresses behaviour
Express Sport brings you the latest tennis news from the Paris Masters.
We’re reaching the business end of the Paris Masters, as eight players become four in the French capital. Jannik Sinner is the overwhelming favourite to lift the trophy after Carlos Alcaraz was dumped out by Cameron Norrie in the Spaniard’s opening match. Norrie was then beaten by Valentin Vacherot, whose amazing 10-match winning streak at Masters 1000 level came to an end when he lost to Felix Auger-Aliassime.
Canadian star Auger-Aliassime will face Alexander Bublik in the semis. Bublik defeated Alex de Minaur, who is among those to have already qualified for the year-end ATP Finals. Sinner is through to his first Paris Masters semi-final after beating Ben Shelton. He’ll face defending champion Alexander Zverev, who survived a tough match against Daniil Medvedev.
Novak Djokovic is not involved in the Paris Masters, having decided to skip the event for the second year in a row, but he has learned his fate in the draw of next week’s ATP 250 in Athens. And over in Riyadh, the WTA Finals are about to get underway.
